This traditionally styled estate diamond platinum engagement ring will always be cherished. At the heart of this engagement ring is a fiery old European-cut diamond of about 1/3 carat. Four split prongs bring additional beauty, while these prongs snugly hold the diamond in place. Extra fire is added to this center diamond by the addition of two side accent diamonds.
Old European-cut diamonds were the predominant diamond cut in the 1920s. They are often mistaken for old-mine cut diamonds, due to their high diamond crown.
